17 year old Dustin Russel, finds out that his also 17 year old girlfriend, Sandy is pregnant. Dustin wants to marry Sandy and obtain the one thing that he has always dreamed of, the All-American-Dream, of a wife, family, house, and a good job. But to Dustin's dismay, Sandy has no desire for such things. Sandy has political ambitions and as no time for a husband, and certainly not a child. Sandy's mother, who is the driving force behind her political ambitions, will stop at nothing to stop Dustin and his family from getting their hands on her and Dustin's child.
This takes place in a small town outside Raleigh North Carolina and centers around Dustin and his parents plight to find Sandy after she leaves their hometown, and state to have their baby, and adopt it out, before Dustin can find her or the baby.

A fun summer read, once I got started I could not put it down. Really made me a little homesick (as I am a Southern expat to the PNW) as the author's knack for telling a great story made me feel as if I was right back in the South, experiencing the small town life again. The characters are well developed and relatable, I would love to know what happened next for this amazing family.Product details

I read this book in one day Each chapter kept my interest and I couldn't put it down The ending was amazing!! I recommend this book to everyone that believes in love and family!!
Very good read ! I was impressed with the new author, could feel the pain in this family and also the love !! We need a sequel MR VINES
That's all you need to know about this book because it says it every other sentence. Maybe his next book can be less repetitive.
I enjoyed reading this book.. Especially for the first time author, it's beautifully written and you can tell that the story is close to the author's heart.. The book was well written and you root for all of the characters to learn and grow from what they're going through..
This book was written by my nephew. He and his wife love children. They have five adult children and many grandchildren. They were Foster parents to dozens of children over the past years. He is now writing a second book.
